There is no easy way to describe Roxy's. We have tried multiple times over the past two years, in hopes they would get better after all the bad reviews.

This is NOT a steakhouse. They have way overpriced options for food, which all menu items are prepared with NO seasoning or flavor - per management is because they need to "be flexible to all customers who may be sensitive to having their food seasoned." They do not even use basic pepper & salt on anything. All items are bland and tasteless.

The steaks are not grilled, we were told they place them in a quick cook oven because it is too hard to find a chef that can grill a steak. All items are placed into this oven to be served. Like having a raw steak thrown in an microwave to be cooked is how it comes to your table.

Be warned we had raw bacon come to us on our wedge salad, and on loaded baked potato. When we notified our server, we were looked at with confusion and told "this is how we prepare our bacon, I am not sure what the problem is." We explained how the bacon was raw and wanted cooked bacon. She proceeded to say well it will take a few minutes to cook it if that's what you want. Yes, we don't want to get sick from raw pork. When the bacon came back, we could tell it was thrown into a microwave and burnt as drenched in grease as well.

The medium requested ribeye was over 50% solid fat and not cooked to order as well. This cost was $54.00 couldn't even eat this.

Everything is a la carte, sides are not worth the money. Appetizers are also overpriced and bland and small portions.

We went tonight to celebrate two birthday's and when we asked the server, Sophi what they do to celebrate, we were told sorry nothing, not even a dessert. I was confused as to why when making the reservation we were asked what we are celebrating than? So this is not the place to go to celebrate anything as the restaurant does nothing.

This will be our final time trying this restaurant out unless, they find real chefs who know how to cook, and start caring for their customers more. Very sad that such a high priced place is on the level of a fast food restaurant.

This place is worse than Applebee’s. The host was rude. Ask me why I was sitting alone and if I was stood up. Stared at me the whole entire time while I ate very uncomfortable. The food came out undone. The bacon was raw and the waitress tried to take $60 of mine I had to track her down and ask for it back or it would be gone. This place is not worth the money. Everyone that works here. Looks like they are on drugs. Don’t waste your money here.

The atmosphere at this restaurant is absolutely great! The food was delicious and even had accommodations to food restrictions that we had. Our server was amazing and was very knowledgeable. Will definitely be back.

Had a fantastic dinner there on Valentine’s Day. The staff was great and the steak was delicious.

Skip this place unless you have comps to burn. We ate here Saturday night and was not a good meal. We waited over an hour and a half to get mediocre steaks that Texas Roadhouse would have been embarrassed to serve. I ordered the filet medium, and it was rare on one side and well done and charred on the other. I would NOT recommend this place at all. It is not a Steak House, I would recommend going over to Brew Brothers. Boy, do I miss the Isle and Faradays. It will be YEARS before Black Hawk sees us again.

I dine out often. Out of all my experiences, Devan Hayes was the best waiter I have ever had. He made sure my boyfriend and I were more than satisfied with everything from food and drinks to seating and ambiance. Every time he came around our table, I could not stop smiling. He is so accommodating. He truly understands the luxury of fine dining. He did not rush us, which is a common issue I have. My boyfriend and I were very specific/ picky about how we used our rewards points and he was so happy to accommodate us. I’m am SO impressed & very surprised when he told us it is only his 2nd week. DEVIN IS THEN BEST!! I hope everyone experiences a server like him. He truely makes the dining experience great. ❤️

The food, beverages, and service were exceptional. We were seated as soon as we arrived, which was early for our reservation time. The staff was extremely friendly. Food and drinks came out quickly. I had French onion soup and the rack of lamb. The food had great flavor and was seasoned exceptionally well. I definitely recommend spending extra for quality food and environment instead of waiting in a long line for the buffet. Plan ahead and make a reservation.
