This one-star review is not just for me. It's for me and the older gal who couldn't write about her experience online and wrote them a card instead. If I could give no stars, I would. I could write an essay about what went wrong on this day, but I'm going to sum it up and let the pictures do the talking. Michelle, the owner of the hair salon, let her training associate work by herself on my hair. Alyiah graduated from cosmetology school and started working here i believe in March or May. I strongly believe Alyiah is not ready to do any type of color/cut on anyone's hair BY HERSELF!!! watch out with Michelle because she will make it seem as it was my fault for having brown hair. She could have told me at our consultation that my hair would be a difficult task for her trainee, and I would have understood. Instead, Alyiah took on the challenge and failed miserably. Brassy, uneven,sloppy.This cost me $265 and was only offered 50% refund. I had to pull strings to get my hair fixed by a professional. I paid $358 to get it fixed. I'm glad this nightmare is over and I would recommend people to not walk but run from this place. Not only do they ruin your hair but Michelle also likes to call you and offer you great customer service by yelling at you over the phone. Instead of this place being called salon Michelle, you should call it "Salon Karen!!!

Michelle does a great job with my hair. Annabelle was fantastic with the facial.
The salon is always clean and inviting. It is comfortable to be there, is a good energy between everyone who works there. It is always a good experience when I go.

I visited Heather for my first haircut with her, felt so at home, felt so welcomed, felt like I was in good hands! Looking forward to coming back and feel more at home now that I’ve found my hairdresser! I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone. She listens, she’s skillful, she’s wonderful to be with!

Never have I ever experienced such welcoming as a ‘walk-in’! I was really needing a haircut and received my haircut and more. The more is the feeling of being appreciated and listening to my “I don’t know” and understanding exactly what I needed- someone who knows where we’re at when we are in need. I got more than a styling and inches removed from my hair, I was treated as a longtime girlfriend and that made my day. I was feeling defeated when I spontaneously walked into Michelle’s and left feeling hopeful. It’s all about treating one another with kindness and receiving an amazing experience getting my haircut.

Visited Salon Michelle for the first time today and had Chalena as my stylist. What an awesome experience! My style was way overdue with huge amounts of gray on display. I showed her a picture from a previous haircut to give her an idea of what I wanted and she made it even better than what I’ve had done in the past. The color was also perfect, covering all the stubborn gray. Chalena is super friendly, patient and professional. Everyone else on the salon is also super nice and welcoming. Great products and environment. Highly, highly recommend!
