Visiting from out of state, we came with our local family. They certainly talked up the burnt ends. When I saw on FB that they were discounting not only burnt ends but brisket due to an impending storm, we moved our visit to an hour earlier. Glad we did.

There were 4 pounds of burnt ends when we were sat, but that dropped to a single pound remaining by the time our order was taken. My wife and I had sandwiches so that others in our party could get what they were so looking forward to.

I had the Burro sammie while my wife had the Stogie. We exchanged halves so we could taste both. I thought they were great. I liked the Burro more while she preferred the Stogie.

Our party let us have a bite of the burnt ends, and they were excellent. I had also looked forward to them and was disappointed to have them unavailable, so finding them so delicious did not reduce that emotion.

I had fries for my side, and also got the beans. Both were great. If I have any criticism, it is that I paid $3.50 for a 2oz ramekin of beans. Everyone who got burnt ends got meat in their beans, while we lowly sammie clowns did not. It's like buying a coffee at a diner for $2.50, which you know costs 15¢.

This was a great experience and we are looking forward to returning.

Best bbq I’ve found in Colorado. Excellent brisket. Awesome Colorado gold sauce and their original sauce is also very tasty. While I’m not usually a fan of French fries, theirs were delicious. We also had the party fries to start. I highly recommend. The service was fantastic. We will be repeat customers.

100/100, not enough gold stars available for this place! The quality of the food and staff are just something special. Weather, it's the party fries, the brisket, the secret menu Auju shot with local whiskies, or just a taste of some delicious sauces. You just can't go wrong with anything on the menu! It's all good. Only problem is for you when you do show before they sell out. Cause it happens EVERY DAY! It's that good. Illiana is hoot of a server.

I always prefer a small locally owned restaurant. And this place is one of our favorites. I love that the meat isn't smothered in sauce - it's deliciously smoked and with a splash of sauce to highlight the quality of the meat. I admire the pride that Chef Sean takes in making sure that the product he serves here is high quality. They recently made an upgrade in offering Wagyu brisket, yes, I said Waygu.

Wow! I just got back from a quick date with my wife at Sammy D's. With our busy family life, 1:1 time is rare, but this experience was so incredible that I had to write a spontaneous review!

One of my earliest trips to Sammy D's involved picking up some BBQ brisket to go along with picnic sides and ice cream drumsticks before heading to Evan's Park for sledding a year or two ago. It was a frugal, yet special outing, with an out-of-town guest, and the BBQ brisket was simply GREAT.

Since then, I've returned with my family, and Sammy D's has consistently taken excellent care of us. They're incredibly hospitable and versatile, accommodating both small and medium-sized parties seamlessly. I bet they can handle larger groups with ease too, but you might call first. Our family has made multiple visits now, turning it into a special occasion treat.

The ribs I recently enjoyed were phenomenal! I held a large, tender bite on the end of my fork and marveled at its beauty before savoring it—perfectly cooked, with beautiful sunset/smoky hues penetrating deep within the meat. The exterior was slightly translucent and gem-like, not overdone, and with an exceptional taste. Sammy D's dedication to quality is evident; ensuring there's no leftover meat for the next day, apparently preparing their BBQ meats with fastidious dedication. On a couple of occasions, I've been lucky enough to be one of the last customers, receiving generous portions as a result. Thank you, Sammy D's, for your generosity!

I am writing this to express our gratitude and appreciation for having this fantastic team in Elizabeth. Their BBQ has made for great evenings and lasting memories. Thank you, Sammy D's!

Just had a fantastic lunch at Sammie D's! The sandwich (Brisket and ham) was delicious, the fries were crispy, and the service was excellent. I definitely recommend checking them out!

WOW!!! I read the reviews and thought we need to come try it out. Had read about the amazing burnt ends, and after trying them, there just are no words to describe the experience othere than WOW!! We live in Parker so not too far away, and this will now be a regular for us. Only problem is now I don't have an excuse to travel to TX to get good BBQ, best I have had is just a 15 minutes away!!!
