The menu is hilarious. The food here is absolutely delish! HUGE portions and tasty bloody Mary’s are my favorite part of brunch at scallywags. The prices are dirt cheap because you can easily spilt and plate between 2 people. We will be back again and again! Ps this place is not kid friendly.

When we got to Grand Junction late, we were starving for something to eat and Scallywags was one of the few places open. Right off the bat, we were greeted by a couple in the bar, making the atmosphere friendly and comfortable. The entire place is filled with fun games, like giant connect 4, so it’s a great spot to grab a beer and spend time hanging out. Unfortunately, we got there right as the kitchen closed, but the bartender was super kind and thoughtful. She told us that she would be willing to make us sandwiches, but they would be cold because the kitchen was down. My partner and I politely declined because we didn’t mind eating elsewhere, and the bartender recommended Los Jilibertos a block away (which has 10/10 Mexican food btw) and McDonald’s (because it’s always open). The bartender, the bar, and the bar customers all had excellent vibes. Next time I pass through here, I’m definitely stopping for a beer💯

Best food I have ever had. The scallywag sandwich is what I had, and it was absolutely the best sandwich I have ever had. It had everything that they had in their kitchen. it's a must. 🥪🍽️👍

OK... so we were told that the food was good here, I was skeptical.. but OMG WE WILL BE BACK!!! The Wendy's turkey jerk off sandwich is DELICIOUS!! The portions are perfect for all at once or take home for another meal!! And the beer battered fries are a must!! Wendy is AMAZING at her job! and the menu is Hilarious!!

Absolutely love this place! Great hometown and welcoming atmosphere. The menu is hilarious (warning for kids)! The servers are very attentive, super polite and courteous. I got a Bloody Mary and it was thick and not watered down with mix. The food is top notch! I got the biscuits and gravy with the blueberry bread putting and it was killer! How many places do you know that give a hoagie sized biscuit?! Amazing! And the cook came out to make sure everything was tasting good which is almost unheard of these days. Cannot say enough good things about this place. Two thumbs way up!! Thank you so much and keep up the great work!

I was at Scallywag New Years Eve. I am not satisfied at all with the bartender. She is a bit short, hefty on the side a little, medium burnette, and I believe her sister works there too. She's not that too old looking as well. That's how I can describe her. Don't know her name, but she's the main bartender I know by far. Anyway , I went to the bar and she out of nowhere said, "Remember me, I'm the one that kicked you out and if you do anything I'll kick you out, are we going to have any problems?" As I stood there with utterly shocked and confused, I said yes,but that was 2 years ago, and I've been here before after the incident too. Which was also not right when my sister was the one drunk and told her how she drove on the one-way street and she didn't kick her out. Instead, she kicked me out for no reason. I was upset about it, and I admit I said some bad words, but that's all I did. So, when i just got there on New Years Eve, and her immediately, attacking me. I told her that there isnt going to be any problems, but she didn't give me a chance to prove it to her. Instead, she said, "Never mind, I changed my mind you just got to go!" Also, threatened me if i did not leave she said she would call the cops on me. Before, i could say anything a security guy was behind me and grabbed me and told me i had to leave. I was trying to explain that I could not leave, I needed to get my belongings, and I needed to let my family know. Even my older sister was confused. I am telling the security that I've also had been here before after the incident. I never in my life even a bartender myself before would attack the way she did to me. This definitely felt like a personal attack on her end. Which is not professionally, and Im tired of being attacked in my life. When I had nothing that I did. I seriously feel like I no longer could go there afterward. However, that's not right that I should feel this way. This is why I want to post this because this is the only way for me to hear and how she is in the wrong. I'm 45 years old and single mom, and that hardly goes to Scallywag. I actually ended up at brass rail instead, and I wasn't kicked out.

Been in here for lunch many times the food is good an the bartenders from open to afternoon are great. I try to avoid this place In The late afternoon and at night just seems the bartenders that work the nights shifts are rude and an are there to just get a paycheck they disappear for 20 to 15 minutes about once an hour.
