We loved coming here and will definitely come back. The greens are nice and the fairways are smooth. I love how you travel through all sorts of places through snowflake to play. It's cool how the local families donated the land to the city to allow this to happen. I'm thankful for that. Now we get to play some decently priced golf. Way cheaper than in Showlow and just as good if not better.

In my opinion, Snowflake is a good municipal course. The layout provides challenging risk and reward shots as it plays to roughly 6000 yards from the white tees. The course is exposed to brisk winds. Be ready to play in 20+ mph winds. The fairways and tee boxes had bare spots. You will get tight and bare lies w a good tee shot in the fairway. The rough can be punishing and the course can play tight w ob being in play on most of the holes to punish errant or off line shots. The greens are fair and roll true. Bunkering is light around the course, the rough is the defense on missed approaches. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The amenities are average. The 19th hole is a nice place for food and beverage post round. No beverage cart on the day we played. Good range and putting green for warm up and practice. There are 27 holes at the course. My review is of the 18. I have not played the other 9. I will definitely play Snowflake again based on price, an interesting layout and friendly staff.

Disc golf course too! Great length. Good baskets and placements. Dirt and grass tees. Mostly uneven. Lots of ants on this course. Add actual tees and this course would be great.

Probably the worst designed course I've ever played in my life. Who puts a tree directly in front of the green on a par 5? It's beyond me to think this course is rated with 4 and a half stars.

Loved my round of golf with my daugher. We played the 9 hole course because we were in town for her middle school mountain bike race the day before. It starts nice and open to warm you up but gets a little tougher on your shot choices as it goes on. Great design, lots of fun! Need to try the 18 next year ?
