Definitely a dive-ish vibe, but no issue there for us. Menu was great, food great, service great The pierogi each are the size of like 3 regular pierogi, so plan accordingly when ordering. We had stuffed banana peps for an appetizer. Excellent flavor, especially the sausage and sauce. We ordered various items around the table and no complaints by anyone. The only negative was wondering why the heck we never stopped here before, and thinking of all of those missed opportunities for good food. ?

Just YES. Mouthwatering pierogies as big as your fist smothered in sautéed butter and onions. Worth the trip from any area of town.
Fish sandwich was great as well, served on Mancini's roll.

Old time pub with GREAT food. Plates are way too much to eat. This is okay, you get 2 for 1 meals! They also have prepared and frozen pierogis that withstood my flight. Diners and dives picked this for a reason! I go everytime I am in Pittsburgh

It's a little old aging hole in the wall so naturally they have the best traditional cuisine in Pittsburgh - pierogis with kielbasa & sauerkraut and a Pittsburgh salad :9 The food is amazing and big portions too! Definitely eat here if you're going through Pittsburgh

Forgive the photo of the pierogi, I forgot to take one until we were half through eating it. Well this is definitely a little dive bar, it has that stale smell with a hint of cigarette smoke, the seats in the booths have seen better days, when you sit down you sink down in the middle. But we knew this was a dive before we went there, we went there for the pierogies. The jalapeno cheese pierogi was good, it was huge, thick dough, fried light brown and there was so much filling, the flavor of the filling was decent there was a lot of jalapeno pieces in it, the texture of the filling was not the smoothest. But it was just a pretty decent homemade pierogi. The potato and cheese pierogi was not impressive, the filling was bland and flavorless. We tried most of the places on Pittsburgh's top 10 pierogi list and we both agreed that forgotten pierogies and Dorothy 6 were the best.

Best pierogies in town. Try the polish or pierogi platter. Classic potato/cheddar is the best. The owner/chef Ron came out a couple of times to check on us. Live music in the bar at night. Good prices & huge portions.

Had family in town and been meaning to try this place myself and it did not disappoint! Had the Polish platter, fish sandwich and took some of their massive perogies home cause it was Soo delicious!! Must visit place here in Pittsburgh!!

PIEROGI ARE GREAT!! FOOD IS GOOD, BUT This place is a dive. It was on drive ins diners and dives about 10 years ago. But the Pierogi are the bomb. I will go there again for the Pierogi they are that good. It is hard to really rate a restaurant or bar such as this. The food is good but the place needs remodeled, or is that the CHARM that they want? 2.5 stars☆
