I would never live in Sunrise Employee Housing again.

My boyfriend & I are paying close to 400$ a month to clean up after our suite mates (who share our kitchen & bathroom). They leave food out for days, never wash their dishes, leave crumbs and spills all over the counters, and everything we touch (handles of microwave, fridge, sink knobs, etc) are coated in grease. We've had to use our sink in our personal room to wash our dishes because the big sink in the kitchen is always too full of dirty dishes and food. We've also never used the dishwasher, because they have taken it over as a dirty dish storage area. They also don't flush the toilet and leave it very dirty.. if you know what I mean.

I've made multiple reports, taken photos, talked to three different people in the housing department and every time they pretend they are going to do something and nothing changes. We've called the cops because they party so loud, yell, scream, play music loud at 3am, etc. and all housing has done is offer to change our apartment. So instead of them being punished they wanted to allow them to stay and make a mess of the apartment and let those who are following rules and upkeep move.

The price is way to high to be living in a college dorm room type of situation cleaning up after people and dealing with parties when there is no punishment. The rules clearly state you'll be removed if you don't obey certain guide lines and it's a total joke. I will never live here again and I don't suggest it, especially if you have early work hours and want decent sleep.

The employee housing management is terrible and they have a total lack of respect for employees. The first day I moved to Keystone I almost didn't receive housing because of a system error. My friend had the same issue and he ended up living in his car for weeks before receiving the housing he was promised before coming down. The rooms themselves are very overpriced considering you're sharing an apartment with 4 other people. If you include all the employees that share an apartment, we're paying close to $1600/mo combined for a very dirty, 700-800 square-foot apartment. It's no secret that Vail is taking advantage of it's employees. Sunrise easily has the worst staff; they're very disrespectful and far from helpful. I'd recommend trying to find a spot at Tenderfoot or an apartment elsewhere, because the employee housing is a disaster... 2/10

the experience is what you make of it honestly ive made great friends here and the living situation is as good as you make it. dont be fooled by negative reviews by people who got evicted for not paying rent or being dirty. you get what you pay for 385 per month with utilities included is super cheap

This place was the worst living experience I've ever had, they moved me into a moldy apartment and threw me out because my roommate was wreckless. The manager Ben is a complete ass hole who doesn't do anything to help and the staff under him is even worse. Build a shack in the mountains and you'll be better off. Worst management team ever.

Kendra has been the most helpful person when it comes to housing issues I've had. The housing itself could be updated but it was fine for the season.

I live with these two nerds who clean up after all my messes haha. we share a kitchen and I can just leave whatever I want out and they'll clean it up for me. We throw parties really late, and those nerds called the cops on us. It's tight though because the cops didn't even really care! This place is tight. The nerds are moving out soon.

Employee housing. Pretty good but is what it is.
