The only complaint I have about this place is that it’s not in my hometown! Our server Johnny was awesome, the food was amazing and it had
a very cool atmosphere! Next time we are back this way we will definitely be back!!!
We had the prime rib dinner special and crème brûlée dessert - yum!

I stopped earlier in the day after lunch time. I had the 12 oz filet and doubled up on tots. (They do have more side choices)
The food was delicious. I would recommend.

We came here for the food but were absolutely blown away at the interior dining area. It is a greenhouse filled with trees, bar, pool, and hot tub. The food was perfect, we ordered the lamb and Steak Diane. The steak was the beefiest tasting beef and the lamb was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Service was super fast and courteous. Decent beer selection. Did not get a photo of the food because it disappeared too quickly, so took pictures inside. The motel rooms open out into the pool/dining area

The best steaks we've ever had! Our waitress, Danica was so intentive, that we never had to wait for anything. The atmosphere was superb and so welcoming! If you're ever in Lamar, don't pass it up, you won't be disappointed!

We frequent the tavern and always sit with Tammy Crockett. She is the best server!! She is fast friendly and always goes above and beyond. We have never had anything bad. The food tastes amazing and the services is equally amazing.
We take out of town guests and have our date nights here. Thanks Tavern 1301!!

What a wonderful establishment! Tavern 1301 is the best place I’ve visited in La Mare. The food is incredibly tasty. It’s a fantastic restaurant with a beautiful interior and very pleasant staff. I ordered a soup that was simply divine. It was so delicious that I ordered another. I also had shrimp with an interesting sauce I’ve never tried before and with dry bananas. Insanely tasty and healthy food. I’ve saved this place to come back next time with my friends. Every time I’m in La Mare, I’ll definitely come here. This is the best place in La Mare.

Безумно вкусно и полезно. Я сохранил это место, чтобы в следующий раз приехать сюда с друзьями. Каждый раз, когда я буду в Ла Маре, я обязательно буду приезжать сюда. Это лучшее место в Ла Маре.

For the talk of the town we expected top knotch! We walked in without a reservation because the website said we didn’t have to make one. We went inside and they said for that night (Saturday) it would be best to make one. We waited in the bar area to get drinks while waiting for the table. The drinks at the ’bar’ took about as long as the wait time (30 min). That there was a red flag. We then finally got the drinks, and we sat at a table. We paid for drinks separately. Then, as we were ordering, the server kept coming by every minute to ask if you were ready to order, which seemed annoying and not understanding that we were still looking, because we told her ahead of time. All in all, the drinks were amazing but food not so much. We both picked the ribeye and fillet for medium and they were both well done. I had mine fixed and tasted better. It was STILL not medium but it wasn’t over cooked like before. For the price, I expected it cooked the way I asked. I didn’t want to ask again so I just ate it. My husband was tired of waiting so he ate the over cooked meat. The kid’s cheeseburger was over cooked as well but he didn’t know any different and ate it. I expected better food for the price. I’m not sure I’ll go back.
