Thario's Kitchen was an unexpected find on our trip from LA to Morro Bay. It is a nice little restaurant with a cosy outside area. The menu is somewhere between Italian and French cuisine and quite varied. We had the shrimp and leek soup which was truly excellent with nicely blended flavours and tasty shrimps. Our dessert was a blueberry raspberry pie that was also very good. Service was very friendly and quick. We will probably not come this way again, but if we did, we would be back.

Incredible food. All made from scratch. The pizzas, the pasta and desert were all incredible. The capers were the size of my fist!!! Amazing!!! The location keeps this gem of a restaurant tucked away from the tourists that can inundate SB and Carp.

We stopped here after a hike in Montecito. The food was so good, the staff friendly and the owner, Thais, is just lovely and speaks French. The restaurant is very spacious and beautifully decorated. It's slightly hidden, so you have to look for it! Definitely, my new favorite restaurant in the area.

It's a cold rainy evening the night before Thanksgiving and we had an early dinner around 4:30. We were the only guests at first then a few parties trickled in. It was slightly chilly and the server offered a heater for us which was thoughtful. Everything was delicious. We shared a salad and the lasagna with garlic bread and marinara. It was the perfect amount as the salad was quite generous. Service was great. It's a very eclectic motif and probably lively when busy. We will definitely be returning before we leave town. Highly recommend!

The food here is absolutely incredible!! We had the gorgonzola salad and pasta and both were so delicious! The service was just a little on the slower side, just something to keep in mind if you're on a schedule. Our waiter was awesome and everyone was friendly!

Beautiful experience! Mario was a sheer delight, he accommodated our large group, catered to our needs, and didn't forget a name! All the while he was greeting and seating many that came in after us. There was so many delightful things! From the decor, the lovely outdoor seating, the beautiful indoor seating, the dishware, and even the bathroom, everything was delightful! The food, oh my gosh the FOOD- from start to finish AMAZING! Every recommendation was spot on, just a sheer delight from start to end! We will certainly return! Grateful to have had the experience and enjoy all that was provided by very skillful hands!

We loved everything about this place. We enjoyed its ambiance, the drinks, and of course the delicious food. I’m a sucker for meatball subs, so the Boulette was right up my alley especially after being told that they make their own bread. My boyfriend ordered the chicken Alfredo pasta which did not disappoint! 15/10. We wish we lived here so we could come back to try more!

Beautiful dinner out in Carpinteria…enjoyed a lovely evening on the CHARMING patio, soaking up the sun! Saw pics of their Shrimp Pesto salad and just HAD to come try it out for myself…it did not disappoint, absolutely delicious! Super fresh greens and a generous portion of yummy grilled shrimp! Highly recommend!!

My partner had their famous lasagna and WOW was this tasty! Real Italian comfort food!

The restaurant is a little off the beaten path, but I highly recommend a detour off Hwy 101 in Carpinteria to visit Tharios Kitchen! You won’t be disappointed!
