My husband and I just had our only daughters, Quinceañera event this past weekend 5/25/2024 @the Almond pavilion in Oakdale. Faviola is the person in charge of renting out this venue. She also offers her services as “the day of event coordinator”, for the amount of $2500. We rented the venue from her for $7500 for 250 guests and hired her separately, as our day of event coordinator. The venue rental includes first and second floor bar downstairs & bar upstairs. Faviola well, offer to hire all servers and bartenders for an additional fee per person per hour. She will also recommend a D.J. For hire(which she brags about how good he is). She over promises and under delivers, I trusted her hiring all the personnel needed. We also hired the DJ she recommended. As a day of coordinator, she was supposed to delegate all vendors communicate with them and make sure everything came out as planned we even prepaid all vendors prior to the date of my daughters continuous so that we would not have to be bothered and she promised she would make sure none of the vendors would go through her since she was being paid to do that. Well, she didn’t. Most vendors were calling my husband and I because they could not get a hold of Faviola the day of the event! She was supposed to put up decorations, at the venue the day of and
she never did. She hired high school kids as servers, for was fine if they knew what they were doing most of them were confused on which tables to serve first! We paid for 2 bartenders services, One for the upstairs bar! There was only one bartender in the downstairs bar. She never opened the upstairs bar when I asked her she said oh no I just didn’t get to it. The DJ will lie to you and say he has everything under control and the day of he really did not play one of the songs on the playlist we sent him two weeks prior to the event. Faviola is not definitely not experienced to be the day of event coordinator. She kept asking me how to announce my daughter’s program on the microphone, for our guests! It was extremely embarrassing for us! She messed up a couple times by confusing the times of the program, the worst. eventually, we stopped, addressing our concerns with her, Due to the fact that she would just say yes, she’ll take care of it and we would turn around and the same issue on top of others! It came to the point, where My husband and I had to step in and take care of everything. Sadly what was supposed to be an amazing day to remember ended up such a stressful overwhelming day. Just please be advised she will recommend you cover all her fees, in full, two weeks prior to your event. There are so much I would like to share, but there’s not enough space on here. This woman does so many discrepancies. I just wish she understood how much we put in to make this day happen for my daughter and how easily she ruined it!

Nice little venue. Nothing bad to say. Clean, well attended by staff, polite staff and security.
I'd recommend it and if I lived in California I'd use it. I'll keep it on my list of places if I'm ever hosting anything on a large scale in CA.
I would recommend putting up posts/metal link chain/sign or painted curb about the parking lot and only one exit. That's an accident waiting to happen if it hasn't and I wouldn't want that on my hands if I were the owner.
