Delicious food!! Best cheese curds, best burger I've had in Denver and suburbs. Hidden gem here. New owners of the restaurant took over a week ago, the chef does an amazing job with the food. They are adding more tvs to make a fun sports bar feel. Will definitely be back!

What a little gem tucked away across the Colorado Mills Mall! I was looking for a casual, yet fun place to celebrate mybsin's 21st birthday and chanced upon the The Barrel room. With a couple of social spaces to relax or play darts the Barrel has a fun vibe. We ordered several apps... during their amazingly late Happy Hour time, til 7pm. The cheese curds and jalapeno poppers were hot and tasty. We ordered an artichoke dip flat bread which was gooey and delicious. Loved the spicy cheese on the loaded nachos... but because they were in a bowl, they became soggy. The cocktails were outstanding! With a party of 5, we were able to order a myriad of cocktails. The old fashion was sipping quality sweet! A lavender lemon honey vodka cocktail was refreshing. We also tried an blood orange gin drink and margarita. All the drinks were delectable and made well. Their entrees were variations of burgers that were made to order and mouth watering. What made this night special was rge inviting atmosphere. The owners Mark and Megan made us feel welcomed, like we were regular customers. The wait staff including host, manager and bartender all checked in and made sure we were taken care of. The Barrel is definitely a place we'll cime back too... not just because the cocktails and food, but also for the warm welcome and care. This is what makes a place worth coming back to. Its great for a week night get together or small celebratuon... or even happy hour drinks and darts.

Just had the oddest experience of my 15-year Denver restaurant tenure here. Came with another couple very hungry but happy after attending the Goldens in Golden event. Our waitress was brand new and took a little extra time but very kind. When the food came out, 2 of the 3 dishes were incorrect, one of them they fixed immediately (fries instead of a side salad) but the other being for someone in our party with a dietary restriction. The original alternative he ordered, flat bread or similar instead of brioche burger bun due to a dairy allergy, wasn’t available so they offered a different option - but he declined when given the option, as we had already waited 30 minutes for the food in a nearly empty restaurant.

The manager Chris insisted, but another person in our party confirmed with our waitress that they’d prefer just to cancel that order. The food came anyway, however he did not eat the meal. I was paying for the group, so when the bill came, I noticed the incorrect/uneaten meal was still on the check so I asked about it and the manager Chris became immediately confrontational and aggressive.

He insisted that we must pay for the meal, even though it was not what we originally ordered and we didn’t eat it. He was clearly offended and said we “didn’t even try it” and when I pointed out it wasn’t what we ordered he said it “wasn’t my business” because I was just the person paying, not the person that ordered it.

Ultimately he said the restaurant didn’t want our gratuity and he hoped we didn’t come back. I am still absolutely stunned and feel so bad for the waitress who clearly put in our orders correctly and was not at fault in any way. Obviously would not recommend this experience to anyone, ever. Plenty of other viable options in the area.

We arrived just as the range was closing so this review is for food only. I was pleasantly surprised by the food here. It was not busy and I wasn’t expecting much as I would think most would come for the range. We ordered the Loaded Nachos and Chicken Drummies. The nachos were loaded and piled high, the drummies had great flavor with a kick. I then ordered the elk tenderloin. Wow. It was so tender and the blueberry glaze topped it off. The broccoli was good. I was not a fan of the “creamy polenta”, otherwise known as grits. Also
ordered the raspberry cheesecake á la Mode. The cheesecake was ok. We were able to watch the game on may screens. The waiter was engaging and attentive. Very good experience and will be back. Worth a visit.

This was a nice surprise! We were nearby at the mall and searched food offerings and the Barrel Room popped up. It is inside a gun store and firing range (I think - we headed straight for the restaurant). We ordered the patty melt, the breakfast flatbread, the smoked manchego pear salad and the breakfast crunchwrap. My toddler also ate their slider and fries and loved it but its not pictured here. The patty melt was nicely cooked and flavorful with caramelized onions. The fries were nicely seasoned as well and had a bit of skin on them which I personally like for texture. I thought the salad was light vibrant and tasty. The crunchwrap got good ratings from my wife and her sister. I thought the real revelation was the breakfast flatbread! The ingredients all blended together so nicely and it really felt like an innovation for breakfast that id never had before. There was a lovely peppery gravy and the flatbread was light but crispy. They had a nice ambiance inside including a bar, plenty of televisions and some games and couches. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for unique offerings. The food was quite good!

The bison burger was phenomenal! The chef shared some of his upcoming items with me, and I definitely want to come back! Plus, you can go and shoot in the gallery range, too!

I love this place!! So fun and honestly their brunch is incredible. We got to meet one of their cooks, Sunny, and he was so friendly. Their staff is amazing, too. Chandler was a great server. My new place to come eat brunch!

Wings and Burger were 🔥 Wasn't too busy got order pretty quickly, watched Nuggets game on large Video wall, nice Colorado teams decor.
