Good food and service but the air conditioning is not working well. Wear shorts if you want to be comfortable. Got the prime rib and it was phenomenal. Unfortunately you can only get the prime rib on Saturdays here. The Cow Palace is a historic landmark and has hosted celebrities like John Wayne. They aren't my favorite restaurant but it's definitely worth a visit if you're passing through.

A really solid 4, almost a 5. The service was fast and excellent! This is so important when you have a large group on separate checks. I had the Rustic Burger and thought it was great. Could be the best burger I've had in the Green Valley area! We had a great time!

First review, although I've been here a few times now. The Cow Palace is well known but doesn't rest on its laurels the way some older Tucson restaurants do. This is a solid steakhouse. No real surprises on the menu and prices are reasonable. On our visit, the place was clean and service was prompt. I got the house nachos and found them fairly bland for my taste.

I stopped by mid afternoon Friday. I had their special Fish and chips because they not only offered beer battered fish but grilled and also blackened. I ordered the blackened and got huge pieces if Fish. At least 12 ounces. Also potato salad and cold slaw. Ordered Tecate light beer seldom seen on menus. The service wasn't great but the food was delicious. It was cool, dark, and decorated like an old time cowboy bar. I felt very comfortable there. Considering the few restaurants in Green Valley vicinity, it was more fun than most. I will be back.

After a long day exploring Ruby AZ we stumbled upon this place for dinner. The parking was packed but was pleased there was no wait to be seated. The lady at the desk was in the phone taking an order and didn't get to us for a few min. Then we were seated at the first table as you waled in. Not bad just wanted something a little more secluded. The waitress came got our drink order brought it back and with out giving straws she wanted our order. I had the new west burger my company had the Philly cheese steak. I left to use the restroom. It's very dated and not the cleanist doos had a missing lock and a broken one. Was gone maybe 6 min than the food was out. Very quickly. Food was really good and flavorful. The only drawback was the waitress asked to take my plate and grabbed everything including my silverware and my dish that o was still eating my potatoes salad from. Not terrible but the manager came around that was nice overall will probably stop back in if I'm ever in the area and looking for dinner. They won't be serving breakfast anymore till September 2018.

Great place for steaks. There is a lot of history in this old steak house. They have a full service bar, Shelley was a great ambassador for Cow Palace. They offer free corn bread while you wait for your meal. The food is reasonably priced and they have great daily specials. All different types of seating: booths, tables w/chairs, bar seating. Plenty of room to maneuver around if you are disabled or in a wheelchair. I gave it 4 stars just because I believe as an Americana restaurant you should offer more than 1 type of soup. Maybe they have more options at lunch, not sure. Worth checking it out if you are just visiting in the area.
