The place was nice we had a party of 7 so it took a long time to get a table. Then it took forever to get our food. It would have been nice to have our salads out first but once the food got there it was worth it. Both the hamburgers and steaks were cooked perfectly. Everyone left satisfied, thank you.

I wanted a green chili smothered burrito for my 30th birthday so my boyfriend brought me to The Creek for lunch. So glad we choice here! Right away we were greeted by Donna. She was friendly took care of all of our needs! Wait time to get our food was super quick and the food was delicious! The thing that stood out about The Creeks burrito is that they didn't layer them like most places. All of the yummy insides were mixed so you got a little of everything with every bite. The burrito was huge! I feel like 2 people could split it; however it was so good my boyfriend took out just about the entire thing. I recommend stopping here if you want a great dining experience.

Went for dinner and breakfast, nothing but amazing things to say! Dinner: best martini ever, really good Russian drink, mountain oysters were delicious, and the open face bison burger with elk chili was phenomenal! Breakfast: Donna never lets the coffee get low, the omelet and burrito were delicious and that pork chili adds the perfect touch!
Yes, there was a bit of a wait for dinner, but that tells me the place is so good it’s packed, and now I know why!
I don’t understand the bad reviews; I waited to review until we had both dinner and breakfast, and I have nothing negative to say about either experience. The atmosphere is friendly, the service from the servers and the owner was exactly as it should be, and the food was excellent!

Cute lil old school bar/restaurant.
Food was delish. We had crispy chicken sandwich and pork green chili plus the Elk chili. All 3 were delicious. Nothing over the top.

My girlfriend and i ate at the creek last night on 8-25-2024. The service was quick, we were seated almost immediately and the waiter was very friendly but very business oriented. We were served drinks quickly. The meals came out of the kitchen within a reasonable amount of time, and the quality made it worth the short wait. My girlfriend ordered the Mushroom burger, which she found to be excellent. I ordered the Elk Medallions, which were phenomenal. This was one of the best meals I’ve had in a very long time, and the Elk may have been the best Elk I’ve ever had. Thank you for your service down at The Creek!

Nice place with a lot of signature Colorado dishes as Rocky Mountain oysters 🦪 a lot of beer. Surprisingly a lot pf Mexican dishes on the menu.

I recently visited The Creek and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. From the start, the server was rude and dismissive, which set a poor tone for the meal. The prices were shockingly high for what was delivered—especially given that the bread we received was burnt. It’s one thing to pay a premium for good food and service, but this place fell short on both counts. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking for quality service or value for your money.

Update a month later:Update: A MUST when in Cripple Creek.

The staff is so great, Bryan has excellent customer service. The kitchen staff outdid themselves again with the food.

The steak I ordered was cooked to perfection and so full of flavor I didn't use the A1. The Brussels were simple, not complicated with 10 extra ingredients to "add flavor" I appreciate that you guys lightly season them and allow the flavor
Of the Brussels sprouts to take center stage. The fries are, cut and made in house and delicious. They hit the spot for fries.

Again impressed and highly recommend.

Update a year later: and they are still delicious and worth the visit!

My date got the chicken quesadilla which was not only delicious but I love how they put chilis in the quesadilla!

I got the burrito and smothered it with the green chili. The green chili is fantastic! The burrito was loaded with rice, beans and hamburger, it's huge and delicious. It pairs well with the green chili. Definitely worth a visit especially to just grab a bite outside of a casino. Service was friendly and prompt.

First review: I was very surprised, yet so very pleasantly impressed with the food here.

The menu hosts a variety of food options.

We settled on sharing between 3 of us the; Garlic Cheese Curds, The Spinach Artichoke Dip and the Burrito.

The Garlic Cheese Curds- were amazing, the marinara to dip them in seemed authentic, with chunks of tomato and a thick rich taste that only complimented the garlic cheese curds. My mom said as were finishing up our meal that she originally wasn't sure about "garlic" cheese curds and that she "really enjoyed them after all", and also mentioned how yummy the marinara sauce was.

The Spinach Artichoke dip - was creamy and delicious, it paired well with the soft naan bread, carrots and celery that accompanies it.

The Three Creek Burrito- we opted for the green chili on the side. The burrito was filled with rice, pinto beans, hamburger meat, onions and chilis and was massive. We cut it into thirds and it was a great finish to our meal here.

THE PORK GREEN CHILI worth noting this was seemingly authentic and so very good, would recommend on its own or to smother anything. Had a small kick.

Between the 2 appetizers and single entree we all left satisfied as it was plenty for us.

We were highly impressed with the food, thus the kitchen/ cook(s). The food was incredible.

Service was good, friendly, informative.

Well worth the drive from the Springs. Will definitely be back as I want to try soooo many other things on their menu!

(Side note, we originally went to eat at Baja Billy's but they are closed on certain days. You will find this a superb alternative if you find yourself in the predicament that we did or just want to try a new place with fantastic food.)
