Used to love this place back in the day. My phone was stolen as someone went into my actual purse and took it out. Shocked because we hadn't been there for more than 20 mins. We Find My Friend's it to an apt within walking distance of the bar... suspiciously close. There are signs that say phone theft is on the rise. My advice is when you see those signs, just go ahead and leave the bar. It's not worth the headache in the morning.

The reviews are true, DO NOT COME HERE, YOU WILL BE ROBBED! My friend got her phone stolen right off the dance floor with her phone in her back pocket. My other friend noticed her purse being wide open throughout the night on the dance floor. It really ruined our night. Upon entering the bar the bouncer will tell you “watch your surroundings” etc and there will be signs posted to “watch your belongings”— in hind sight we should have walked straight out of there. I agree with the other review, the bouncer/establishment did nothing to help and I wouldn’t be surprised if they were in on it. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS PLACE.

Love this bar! But the best part by far was the bartender DeeDee. She’s a true mixologist as my “regular” drinks were sensational simply because they were made by her! Her skills and personality are top tier. Can’t wait to come back!

bouncer discriminated on gender presenting basis: he would not check our ID’s even though we were 22+ and it was on the basis of us being gender-bending, non binary and non conforming. this place discriminates. Do not give them your business if you’re queer, they won’t even check your ID

Came for a Dominican party on Sunday. I think they host these types of events monthly, and it was Jumpin! Food sold outside, and it was packed to the brim! DJ and dancing was the point of the party. This is an all day event and put opportunity for Dominicans in LA together. Everyone was super welcoming of me and my friends as non Dominican guests. Great venue and event.

DO NOT COME HERE! My phone was stolen on Saturday. It was so cramped and was so hard to get any space. Two of my friends in my group also had their phones stolen on the same night. when we walked outside, we overheard two other groups have a similar situation about their phones stolen. We asked the bouncer what they were going to do about it and he just pointed at a small sign that said something about an increase in the amount of phones stolen here so be cautious. They do not care.

The food and service was great. I came in curious because I’m gay as a jaybird and I read all the nasties. Pretty great service unless we get weirder than straities I guess?! ?

YOU WILL GET ROBBED. DO NOT COME HERE. A bunch of people got their phones stolen here tonight and after reading multiple reviews I am certain that management is in on it. It probably took me less than 15 seconds to realize my purse was open, I told all my friends what happened and immediately told the bouncer. I asked him to stop anyone trying to leave while I checked the floor because my friend saw my phone was still active on Find My Friends at our location. I turned around and saw him let like 4 or 5 people out while I was checking the floor and not say a single word or check their belongings. Meanwhile, another girl got her phone stolen and the bouncer told to talk to the manager who just shrugged and said there was nothing he could do. This bouncer absolutely knew what was going on because I've seen the same guy there every time I've been. So how do phones keep getting stolen every single weekend and you don't recognize the people who keep coming back in?! You're ID-ing them so you must have some idea of who the regulars are, as well as at least looking at who is leaving your bar within a minute after someone tells you their phone was stolen. Shady place with bad vibes and corrupt management who are either willingly letting people get robbed or a part of the crime ring themselves.
