I am giving a one-star rating, so that I am able to post this review.

I moved my daughter into the Verge 4 months ago, on the 16th . When we arrived, we were greeted with the dirtiness of the attached photos. Nothing had been touched. In addition, there was a huge shower head leak that actually sprayed across the length of the bathroom. Between my daughter and myself, we had attempted at least 6 phone calls and multiple messages prior to her move-in, to make sure the Verge was aware my daughter was no longer bringing her cat. When we arrived, the pet rent and deposit were still on her ledger. It took months to have that removed. In addition, there was no key made for her bedroom. After we moved my daughter in, I sat and watched her enter the cleaning and maintenance items into the computer program they required, so I know that was done. Then, I walked back to the office to explain the issues in person as well. As I walked over, another new resident showed me pictures of his child’s move-in apartment, also filthy. The general manager (who has since left), took all of my information. We are 4 months in, and my daughter just received a bedroom key and the spot below the shower head has not been repaired. My guess is that there is mold underneath it. I have been to the office multiple times, and the ludicrous excuse I am getting, is that the office does not coordinate with maintenance. If that is the case, how is the maintenance department managed and evaluated? I am also being lied to in that the office says it has never gotten the work orders, although at least half of the times we have delivered the information, has been in person.

Next stop for me is to contact the Weld County District Attorney’s Office. I would encourage any troubled residents to do the same. I would also suggest as you are reading reviews of this establishment, that reviews can be planted. Some of the good ones are not actual residents.

Do Not Rent from Here.

DO NOT RENT HERE!! Do not be fooled by the model you are shown for this property. We showed up to move my son in and were handed keys by an intern at the desk, no management to be found anywhere.
When we first entered the apartment we were overcome by the smell of rotting trash and mold. Upon entering the apartment we encountered a total disaster in the shared "common area". There were piles of trash, stained carpet, holes in the wall, layers of dirt and dust on the walls and shared furniture, The blinds had been torn to shreds and there was a kenneled dog who had ripped apart the furniture. When we entered what would have been my sons room, the mattress was filthy and there was mold all over the bathtub, toilet and sink.
When we returned to the office to address the issues we were told by the intern that sometimes that apartments are a little messy and that we should take pictures so that we wouldn't be responsible down the road for damage. When asked if we could speak to a manager we were told they were unable to come in and that there were no other available apartments he could move into.
We left without moving him in and he then had to commute an hour to his new job until we could find him somewhere else to live. We are still waiting for a refund for his deposit.
Please don't make the same mistake we did and move your son or daughter here.

The only reason they get one star is because I cannot put zero stars. My apartment had maintenance requests in for a month and a half and when the issues do get “fixed” these are the results: removed our ice maker with no replacement, made my shower drain 3 times slower than it did before- a five minute shower takes 5 minutes to drain, and a spot on the “waitlist” to get a screen for my window. The Verge continues to charge more and more for a less than agreeable living arrangement.

The heat in my daughter's apartment has been out for 2 months. She has contacted maintenance repeatedly, been told that they are working on it, but still... It is December 3, and no heat has been in the apartment since October 1. They DO NOT respond to calls or emails, the property management team is also not interested in helping you.
DO NOT RENT HERE under any circumstances.
There are police and violence issues, the area is in disrepair and again, these people don't give a damn about you.

After seeing general note about move out asked if this applies to me and was told no. Then find out a month later after looking online and seeing I was was good till March 2025. Documents were than different and was being told that no all leases end in July. Different document was than found after pointing this out as all Documents were kept on line by the verge. While I will stay here as it is inexpensive and not terrible. The management and communication is atrocious. Being a property manager and owning property personally I would be embarrassed by how communication is handled. Have since downloaded all documents to make sure they do not pull this one again.

Cons:
Just don’t. I’ve lived here for a year and have signed for another regrettably. They pushed us to sign for the new leases a month after we moved into the place in August. I regret my decision because they are adding charges for everything. We average $30 a month in utilities but now have to pay a flat rate of $60 to compensate for the other unites who use to much. As of August 2024 they are also now charging to park under the covered parking which is nearly all of it in the back lot and left side of the buildings for $35 a MONTH! Plus you have to pay for parkm to have your parking permits. It’s $35 a month for a pet. $6.99 for the useless rentistry which btw hasn’t done anything to my credit for a year and doesn’t even show on it as a credit line. I pay just shy of $900 a month for a single bedroom in a subpar apartment. The maintenance team doesn’t take anyone seriously so we’ve had to fix a few of our own apartment issues such as our sink which needed a new handle. We hired a pro plumber to look at it and they confirmed that the water leaking when it’s turned on isn’t normal. There is 0 communication from the complex when repairs are being done such as the parking lot fiasco. Their phones never work or they never answer them so we can’t contact anyone either.

Pros:
The front desk guys are splendid and try their best with what they are given. I appreciate their kindness.

So I moved into The Verge Greeley apartments about four years ago.
When I moved in, I had two other roommates, my half-sister and her friend.

They told me that the sink, dishwasher and fridge have all been broken since before I moved in. They told me that they called for a maintenance request and either they
- didn’t get a response from maintenance or
- the problem didn’t get fixed at all when they responded.

And this is still an ongoing issue; My fiancé moved in with me about a year ago, and he put in a maintenance request for the dishwasher two months ago. We have not gotten a response since.

Other issues I’ve had over the years include:
- They don’t give notice when they’re about to do things; or if they do, it’s like, an hour’s notice - maybe 24 hours if you’re lucky.
- The utility prices have been somewhat ridiculous.
- They closed the pool due to “replastering” like three weeks into the summer and didn’t open it during a recent heatwave due to “rebalancing the chemicals” which should have taken like, a day or two max.
- Their text notifications don’t work. I’ve brought it up multiple times. It never gets fixed.
- You can’t really get in contact with the office, they send you to voicemail a lot.

All in all, this place - it’s good if you need a roof over your head, but everything else is starting to make me and my fiancé want to look for another place to live. As other people have mentioned, the complex gives incentives to those who leave stellar reviews, so I would take those with a grain of salt at the very least.

This apartment complex has been very bad at communicating and they seem lazy. I have had a couple problems already since moving in. We didn’t have AC for an entire year since moving in. They never told us when they were coming to fix it and then when they did come fix it, it took over 8 hours. They also never communicated when they were closing off 75% of the parking lot when it was originally suppose to be 50%. I got back from an 8 hour shift and had to park in a random parking lot outside of the verge, which was a long walk and it was dark outside. I didn’t feel safe, and I felt bad for those who are disabled and had to walk super far to get back to their apartment. Not to mention, the pool was open for maybe 3 weeks this entire summer and instead of “replastering” it before the opened it they decided right in the middle of summer. It has been a whole month since they closed the pool and we are in a heat wave. Not entirely the biggest deal but it is frustrating since it is something that I pay for and I want to use it. Considering that replastering a pool only takes a week, not a whole month. I guarantee they will only open it when new tenants are about to move in to make it seem nicer. Overall, don’t be fooled by the 5 star reviews, those are only there because they make residents give 5 star reviews to win gift baskets or some other reward. If you really want honest reviews of the apartment look at some of the lower stared ones.
