This place is awesome! We were trying to make our way home from Breckenridge on Dec 9th, 2024, when the roads became too icy to continue. We are very thankful the other hotels were full because of the storm. I found this Inn on Google Maps at Walsenburg, CO. The owners took us in as if we were long-lost relatives and quickly set us up in our cozy room. It was like staying at your favorite relatives nicest house. We would definitely stay here again!

This is a must stay in Walsenburg Colorado, Donna was amazing and welcoming when we first called asking about any availability for that evening. And when we got to the place we were overwhelmed by the beauty of the landscape in every corner of the property. When we arrived they gave such a warm and welcoming feeling and they gave us a complete tour of our amenities and how we could access every service. They also gave us great suggestions for drinks and dinners. From this location you have easy access to Lathrop state park with in 4 miles, Red Rocks park, Great sand dunes national park by Zapata falls with in 70 miles and much more .

This place is an absolute gem just a few minutes out of downtown Walsenburg on a beautiful country road with mountain views. Our room was exquisitely furnished, quaint but with every modern convenience. A separate breakfast nook had coffee, a sink and microwave. The hospitality was outstanding, and the cost extremely reasonable. One of the best values we’ve encountered in our travels.

If I could give this place more than five stars I would! My husband and I found this place and decided to stay on our vacation passing through. What a gem we found. The room was pristine with beautiful decor. The yard was just as lovely. And Donna was so helpful with whatever we might need.

Needed a place to stay in near Pueblo for a family event and found this gem. We stayed in the Savilla Marie Suite and if you are looking for quiet this is the perfect room for you since you are on the ground floor and there are no rooms above you. It was one of the most peaceful stay I have ever had, we never heard anyone else while in the room. The bed is so soft and the setting is very romantic. You even have your own porch sitting area out your front door. The grounds are beautiful and there are so many places set up for you to sit and relax, it's almost a small resort.

The bed was awesome. It was large and comfortable. There is a room to fit your needs or you could rent them all at once if you have a large party. Donna was helpful from giving directions to recommendations for dining. The scenery makes you not want to leave. It's quiet,restful but most of all relaxing. The grounds are wonderful. There is lots to do in the area. Donna and Rich were the best hosts. Come sit...stay a while. You will love like me!!!

Ms.Donna was amazing. Very friendly and wonderfully helpful. My husband and I sat out on a road trip with no plans.We called and.Donna and she was extremely helpful. We prefer to stay in quiet peaceful places and that’s exactly what The Inn at Pennington Place offers. The room was spacious, clean and adorably decorated. The grounds are a work of art them selves!! I highly recommend staying here!
