My mother recently bought a cottage at McKenzie Place, it is an excellent choice for a retirement community. You have independent living, assisted living, memory care, dining, bistro, activities, shuttles to grocery, medical appointments, shopping. McKenzie Place pretty much has something for everyone!

Threw my daughters party here. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Facility is very well priced. It was plenty large enough to accommodate our 40 or so guests very easily. Has a large dance floor in the middle of the room, a giant fireplace, great sound system, projector, and high ceilings with chandeliers. Recommend this venue for your next personal event.

Super expensive for a whole lot of nothing. $6,000+ There is no grounds for nice pictures. It is in the middle of a housing development so your view from the outside ceremony area is houses "real pretty" NOT!. There is no area for the bride to get ready other than the main office and there is no mirrors in there and it's right by the front door and also directly across from the groom area and that's just a rec room with no door. The inside reception and or ceremony area is nice but that is all this place has to offer.

I attend a monthly luncheon at the Lodge. It is always clean. The menu for the lunch they bring in is somewhat limited, but the food is always good and the staff are polite and friendly. Our group frequently has problems with the A/V equipment.

Would give 1/2 a star, if possible. My mother has lived here for several years now and the quality & variety of food was one of the main reasons we chose Mackenzie Place. The food just gets worse and worse, the chef quits every other month and they have to find a new one constantly. Not enough wait staff and those they do have are overworked. High turnover in the staff. It REALLY needs to be dealt with. Friends of my Mother's are moving out because the cost to live there keeps going up every year but the food just is horrible.

My April memorial event was cancelled due to Covid. We rescheduled for the end of August. I continued to work closely with the event coordinator for compliance with Covid regulations etc. Most of our guests were still planning to attend with the guidelines in place for the venue and the city. The venue cancelled the event the day after they confirmed we could proceed.

After several attempts to contact the event coordinator through phone calls and emails to get my deposit returned, I attempted to contact the Manager via phone to no avail. I sent a letter requesting my deposit return with complaints to the manager per a receptionists address instruction. It was returned as an incorrect address. I again tried to contact the Manager by phone and she was not available. The receptionist directed me to send to a different address. After two months more, there is still NO RESPONSE FROM THE MANAGEMENT AND NO REFUND OF MY DEPOSIT.

Great place to work or go to eat. They have a great unit for people with Alzheimer's or problems with the brain but the staff is great and they have probably the best food of most if not all the live in facilities for adults.

Wonderful venue, great food. We meet there monthly for the Business Women's Network of Fort Collins. Love it!!!
