I was pleasantly surprised by the food selection and layout of this little place. I grew up in Cascade, so I remember when this building was a convenience store, then a southwestern market-type shop, then the best little taco stand. I'm not gonna lie, I was heartbroken when the taco place shut down. So, naturally, it took me over a year to try the Mad Hatter, but I'm impressed! I figured it was a typical bar with a tiny menu, but that wasn't the case. I saw a few people eating, and the food looked fantastic. The only thing I "ate" was the Bloody Mary fixins, but that was truly a small meal. The views and the company were great; mountain views and mostly Harley riders & tourists. There's plenty of outdoor seating. Overall, it's a great little spot to get some sunshine, even on a winter day.

Mad Hatter is hands down the best bar in town! Their fried pickles are absolutely delicious—crispy, tangy, and perfectly seasoned. And don’t even get me started on the Bloody Marys—they’re amazing! Just the right balance of spice and flavor, making them a must-try.

The atmosphere is another highlight. The outdoor seating offers stunning views, creating the perfect backdrop for a laid-back evening with friends or a casual date night. Whether you’re there for the food, drinks, or the vibe, Mad Hatter delivers every time. Highly recommend checking it out!

I recently visited Mad Hatter's Saloon and had the most amazing experience! The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the Bloody Mary. It was perfectly spiced, rich in flavor, and beautifully garnished. The balance of flavors was spot on, making it the best Bloody Mary I've ever had. The atmosphere of the saloon, combined with the friendly and attentive staff, made for an unforgettable experience. If you're looking for a great drink in a fun and welcoming setting, Mad Hatter's Saloon is the place to be! Highly recommended!

Came for the bloodys, stayed for the breakfast burrito. Excellent bloody marys and the burrito we had was great. The staff was very helpful, attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was cool too. It's probably jumping in the summer. We'll be back next time we're in the area. Definitely!

Huge YES to everything about this place. First time trying it with a friend yesterday after a snowy hike. Can’t wait to come back with my family. I heard the bloody mary’s were the best around & holy cow they did not disappoint!! But even better than that was the AMAZING service. I’ve never seen such a cheerful, happy & kind staff. It was like going to visit friends who hadn’t seen you in a long time & they were so excited to have you there! 😋 The food was absolutely delicious too!

This is the best place to not only get great food but also amazing drinks. Loved the Alice in Wonderland theme. The only thing that you have to worry about is waiting for service because there might only be one server. Definitely has more of a bar feel to it, so take advantage of the mixed drinks. You can't go wrong they're all so good. Also, try their Gator appetizer. It shocked me with how well they tasted.

I visited here after a hike around cripple creek with my pup and it was a nice little surprise. They have a small back area that faces chipita park and the bar opens to the inside space. Perfect place for a burger or hot dog, (or even a brat) with options of 6 different themed style toppings. I had a traditional Chicago dog that didn't disappoint and I definitely want to try this place for weekend brunch.
