The Good:
1. The Oxford Bar and Grill is a welcome addition to Fowler, Colorado's restaurant and entertainment options.
2. The environment is trendy yet comfortable.
3. They did an excellent job renovating the building that formerly housed a floral shop. The design features an original brick wall, which remains untouched and serves as the architectural highlight of the restaurant, located directly behind the bar.

The Not So Good:
1. The service was slow. A friendly server, who was not ours, took our drink orders and delivered them promptly. She informed us that our server would be with us shortly, but on this weekday night, "shortly" turned out to be over 10 minutes.
2. When our server finally arrived, she struggled to accurately take our order and later returned to inform us that one of the items we ordered was unavailable.
3. The food took a long time to arrive—over 25 minutes—even though we only ordered salad, sandwiches, and burgers, which are not particularly complicated dishes.
4. The food was average at best. We have heard that the food is usually better, but they missed the mark that night.
5. One dish was so unappetizing that we had to return it to the kitchen, and when we ordered a replacement, it took an additional 10+ minutes for it to arrive.

Frequent customers mentioned that our experience is atypical, so we will give the restaurant another chance the next time we are in town.

We had an absolute blast last night at the Oxford!! We had a party of 12 and the staff was more than accommodating!! The food came out great & in a decent amount of time, service was awesome!!! Although the pool table had issues they were more than willing to get someone to help us asap! Thank you so so much for your great food and great hospitality!

Wow. Who would've thought this little classy gem existed in fowler! Patrons were very nice and friendly folks. Not one negative attitude in the place how refreshing! Servers were genuinely nice attentive and respectful. Food was pretty good, looks like fresh food and not frozen. Will be returning! Thank you for a very nice evening! Highly recommend!

Really nice atmosphere, not what you expect to find in a town like Fowler. Burger was really good. Good customer service. Only complaint would be the music and that almost every song was either Nickelback or sounded like Nickelback. Will be back

I love the fact they have an outside eating area when weather is good my mother has a wheel chair bigger then most standard doors so it's nice to be able to go outside and eat but if the garage door is open she can even eat inside I love that is an option for us, the service was lovely the waitress was a sweetheart, atmosphere is cool and we had the nachos and bread budding the nachos were really good even with a small it's was enough for 2 people to snack on, the bread pudding was really good and it was massive we both snack on it and we had leftovers! Over all lovely experience!

Stopped in for a Burger, onoin rings and a beer. The buger was excellent the meat was very flavorful. The Onion rings the best I have ever had and of course my beer was ice cold. I loved it!!! Will definitely come back evertime I'm here buying hay. Also the service was really good very impressed by the whole experience. Thank you for a great meal

So. Much. Bacon. Big, meaty sandwich, the fries are beer battered and super crispy, and everything is fairly priced.

UPDATE: I spent the whole night vomiting. Will not be back. Wash your hands next time.

Have been looking forward to trying this place for a while. Had a hard time deciding, but went with the Colorado - 7oz shortrib burger with queso, bacon, and green chilies on a brioche bun. Had to request a knife and eat it like a steak, but it was delicious! Ordered it with beer-battered onion rings - yum! Have to say I loved the ambiance and decor, and the wait staff was outstanding. Can't wait to go back and try something else. They have some fun varieties of burgers and sandwiches!
