The good: nice exterior, with outdoor seating and great view. A band was playing this Sat. afternoon too.

The meh: eggs Benedict were over cooked, hollandaise very split, Bloody Mary was made with watery low-grade tomato juice. I also asked for brut sparkling white wine, server said only champagne is available. Great! However fairly sweet non-champagne sparkling wine arrived. Drinks were slow to arrive also.

Overall, 'style over substance' is my impression

Stopped on our way thru town. Amazing food!!! Everyone loved everything they ordered. Darla was our waitress & she very attentive. On top of refills. Picked up empty plates promptly. 10/10 recommend.

Salads were awesome. Chicken was charred to perfection. Mushroom swiss burger was delicious. Dined indoors which was a little loud but outdoor seating looked cozy.

This place is special! We've flown through town dozens of times over the years and never knew what we were missing.

Fantastic setting in an old house. Huge menu (especially during brunch). Fast, friendly, and fun service.

Bacon cheese fries were a hit. Pretzel bites were very tasty.

Chicken salad sandwich was stuffed full and had a great amount of flavor.

Meatball sandwich made the boy smile, and he's picky.

Eight people had eight different things and they were all very happy.

Some 3 1/2 could be a 4 1/2 on food with small changes.
My pork nachos were decent. Just the chips and cheese needed heated up. Makes a big difference. And a food garish. Chopped sprinkled jalapeños would work better for me.
I’m supposed to be dairy free so light cheese was fine. I think most people would want more cheese and salsa though.

This is a cute place. Had only a few customers when I was there. 2 at a table and 1 at the bar.

Outside seating is here also.
Nice creek with waterfall nearby.

Normally, I try and be nice, but the service was horrible, they accused all the women of being intoxicated which they were not, (yes they were drinking) the bar tender cut off one of the women yet allowed a very intoxicated man there who was offering people drugs to stay and still be served. Very frustrating!

I never once made any comments about being in law enforcement and actually never said much of anything comment wise. I drank my Dr Pepper And sat at the end of the table. I am not in law enforcement.

I only went inside once to use the bathroom so not sure what others did or said. I can only report my observations and experiences. If reporting the truth is wrong. ?‍♂️ my wife only went inside once and only had one drink. We try and support local businesses, which is why we came there to eat.

This was a great find -- a beautiful two-story old home converted into a restaurant right across the street from the falls. Lovely patio area. Authentic interior that fed my old soul. Darla is a considerate server, and the food is tasty. I had the Green Goddess Grilled Cheese and Tomato Basil Soup for lunch. Perfect for a cool, rainy day.

I really struggled between a 3 and 4 star review but decided to go with the 4 because overall it was a good experience. We went today (Saturday) for brunch and I was particularly excited for Eggs Benedict as it’s one of my favorites. The hollandaise was a huge disappointment however- it had split and didn’t have enough lemon and it looked oily and didn’t cling to the eggs/ham/English muffin like it should. It was probably the worst eggs Benedict I’ve ever had. I thought maybe it was a one time flaw but after looking at a few other images online of the eggs Benedict, I think they just don’t know how to properly make a hollandaise. However, my husband ordered chicken and waffles and it was delicious! 100% would recommend ordering that. He also ordered a Bloody Mary to drink and it was pretty good but there were some very large pieces of garlic in it- the garlic should probably be minced better in the future. We will likely return and give it another shot because the prices were good and the service was quick and pleasant. But I don’t think I’ll risk the eggs Benedict again which is disappointing.
