This is a spot that makes up for average food with excellent vibes - it's cozy, homey, warm, and a perfect little spot to stop for dinner.

Nothing of what we ate for dinner blew us away, but it reached the bar and was comforting and filling. I would be happy to come back and see if the Purple Pig has any specialties or one of a kind dishes in the future.

Comfortable seating, great environment, good staff.

We came here after sitting at a brewery across the street and not receiving any service for 20 minutes and received exactly the opposite. We were greeted immediately and sat and our server was fantastic. I wish I knew her name because truly she was great at her job.
the food was excellent and we had plenty for leftovers.

We stopped in at the The Purple Pig Pizzeria & Pub while visiting Alamosa and the Great Sand Dunes National Park. We ordered a take out pizza with a cob salad and picked it up to take back to our campsite at the park. Conveniently located right on Main Street the pub had a full service bar and great / fun atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. The pizza was hot and ready to go when we arrived. The staff were very friendly and the pizza and salad were spectacular. Highly recommend a Purple Pig Pie if you are in the area.

Stopped at this pizza pub on our way through town and weren't disappointed. They have a very nice wood oven for pizza. We enjoyed chatting with our server, who was very friendly and gave good suggestions about the menu. My friend had the bison burger and enjoyed it and I had the Bianca pizza, which was good. They have a nice tap selection and use as many local ingredients in their food as they can.

We were in the mood for good food, so we looked to Google for recommendations. The Purple Pig was our choice for the night. We were seated immediately and drink orders taken. There were so many tasty options, but we ended up opting for the wood fired pizza. The crispy crust, the chewy cheese, the perfect pepperoni!! So good!! If you want to have a Heaven Lee time..... 🙂 visit the Purple Pig!

The pizza was good but for a pizza with jalapeños, I think it had six jalapeño slices on it. The place looked really cool inside and the food was tasty, but they do that stupid thing where they don’t cut the pizza in regular slices. I don’t know must be the cool hip thing to do. I’d like the hamburger that is three times bigger than you can fit your mouth around. But it makes it very messy to eat and personally I find it annoying because I want a slice of pizza to be a slice of pizza not a chunk of a pie.

Darn good pizza found here. Service was great and the place was clean and refreshing. Sat outside and enjoyed pizza and the nice weather. They have a fired oven the gives the pizza a really good flavor. I enjoyed eating here for sure.
