This place was great. They serve an awesome variety of foods from sandwiches, salads, pizzas, and incredible desserts and terrific coffee.

There is plenty of seating inside the lodge, and great views of the mountain from the base. One thing that was extremely surprising is that it was unusually cheap! Typically you pay a premium at ski lodges/resorts --that's certainly not the case here. The prices were fantastic.

Overall great experience. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and polite, and the food was very good.

Great place to have a quick lunch and a beer. Service was quick and efficient. Almost wanted to stay longer but I came to ski. 😉

But seriously, she makes this place so welcoming and awesome. It is so fun to head here for a mid-day drink and hot dog. Great drink selections from beers to wines to mixed beverages, with a rotating daily special that tends to be worth checking out. They always play nostalgic ski videos on one TV, and lots of sports on the others. It's just the spot, for so many reasons. I have had great conversations at the bar, as well as some overly sharing traumatic ones ("wow that's crazy your uncle did that").

A small but substantial food menu offers hearty fare, and the $3 popcorn paired with a strong drink has restored my faith in humanity numerous times.

Sure, you could car bar it. But then could you say you've taken a pickle shot at the legendary Rathskeller?

The cafe and restaurant, above Rathskeller, served pretty good ski area food! The hot chocolate is made to order with real chocolate and milk (with non-dairy options available!!). Great spot to warm up and take a break between runs as well.

Main bar in the day lodge. Downstairs. Good apres-ski. Hang out and bs with friends. Sometimes they provide popcorn. One can order food till the kitchen closes - whenever that is. Can get very loud inside. Better since they outlawed inside smoking in Colorado.
