It's the slow season, so we couldn’t get ahold of anyone at the number listed, but once we were in town, we called the number on the door. It's one of only a few places to stay, and we were pleasantly surprised. Annette came quickly and checked us into a room. The foyer was warmed by a wood-burning stove, the room was clean and smelled good, and the bed was comfortable. They offer free WiFi and coffee, and snacks & toiletries for purchase. Great little hotel in San Luis if you're passing through like we were.

This hotel is a joke. Funny how Expedia quoted $176 but they charged me $219. I stayed at a Hilton for $143 and it was in the LA area. The rooms smell like cheap air freshener. They don't have anyone working the reception desk so you have to ring a doorbell to enter the facility each time you go in and out. The rooms are outdated, cheap mattresses and postage sized bathrooms. I wrote this same review right after I checked out and they deleted it. Even though everything I'm stating is correct. The manager/owner said he would honor the Expedia price of $176 but he never did, I called numerous times, sent them a text message and no response. Don't let the Christian signs and pictures fool you.

It's so nice knowing this hotel is in San Luis CO. The woman that runs the hotel is very nice & helpful. The hotel itself has been remodeled and is comfortable, and also conveniently located near the Rio Grande River & my family's property.

My friend and I booked this hotel and were very dissatisfied. Firstly, you have to call their number because they do not have a staff member working at reception. The doors are locked so you need to wait till someone comes to answer the "doorbell." The rooms smelled like cheap air freshener and the decor was very dated along with the cheap mattresses. They charged $219 for the room which is outrageous! We booked it because there weren't any rooms available in the area. Lastly (and buyer beware) they overcharged me by $40.

Great little hotel smack dab in the middle of San Luis! The owners are super friendly and knowledgeable of the area! Rooms were cozy and quiet. Has plenty of rooms and has/ is recently being remodeled! Small little breakfast snack bar area with great snacks and drinks. They do a quick dry breakfast and coffee for travelers on the go! We'll definitely be back again and again!

A diamond in the rough!! This was such a great place to stay. It is an older motel however has everything you need. Comfortable beds and pillows, hot water, heat and absolutely wonderful hosts. The owners and staff were extremely friendly. And it's CLEAN!!! While there isn't a coffee pot, microwave or refrigerator in the room itself, there is in the kitchen area. The owner was kind enough to allow me to put ice packs in the freezer. There are also small complimentary breakfast items and coffee along with snacks available for purchase. It was in a perfect location for our plans. About 45 minutes from the Great Sand Dunes and Alamosa. We would definitely stay again and would highly recommend.
