Fresh & tasty salads & soups! Soup/salad combo meals with bread are just the right amount of food. Their grilled cheese sandwiches are also delicious! We eat here (or take it with us) every time we are in town.

#2 is the way to go!
We tried Tomato Basil & Pork Green Chili for our soups. Phenomenal flavor & the grilled cheese was crispy & cheesy.

Incredibly delicious soup spot that also has great sandwiches. The soup chef is very particular and has rules you must follow but it's well worth it!🤣 Plus, there are great quotes and sayings posted around the restaurant but, as a rule, you aren't required to read them.

Amazingly good! My wife and I were here from out of town on vacation and feeling under the weather. Wanted some soup. This was perfection! The food was delicious. The service was quick and friendly. Highly recommend!!!!

Heard about this place for a few years and finally had a chance to stop by. The Turkey Bacon Avocado sandwich was amazing! Both my daughter and I talked about it for long time and actually came back the next day to get it again! I actually opted for a grilled cheese and tomato soup after skiing in Breck and while it wasn't as amazing as the sandwich the day before...it was wonderful and I would highly recommend it! I have eaten at almost every place in Fairplay and I feel safe in saying that the Soup Pot is now my #1 location for lunch!

We’ve made the Soup Pot our go-to because the food is really good and it’s a convenient option when needed. The pricing is on par for what you’d expect.

The one deterrent that is keeping us away in the future is that the owner is very passive aggressive and borderline rude. We try to alternate going in just so we don’t have to be the one dealing with her. If you don’t order following the exact steps she wants you’ll get scolded (we’ve seen it happen to others too). For instance, don’t wait until you get to the register to order a drink.

I’d recommend this place for to-go orders and try to be as prescriptive as possible when placing your order. If you want friendly service as part of your dining experience, try to get someone else on the team or go to the Robin’s Nest next door where the owner shows sincere gratitude for your business. I get that none of us really like dealing with the general public, and business is tough these days, but a “hi how are you” goes a longer way than side eye.
