Great place to stop for a beer or quick lunch in Murphys. Incredible beer selection and surprisingly great bar food! The patio is a quaint spot to enjoy the creek.

In Murphy's California you'll find the fairly new establishment. It is a great place for lunch or dinner. Not only do they have one of the widest selections of draft beer on tap in the area, but their selection of single serve canned/bottled beer and wine available is hard to wrap your head around. That alone was enough to keep me coming back. Their food is expertly crafted under the supervision of an incredibly talented chef. The menu will change from time to time based on the chef's inspiration so it does keep your experience fresh. Most entrées do not come with a side so be sure to ask and keep in mind the portions for their sides are typically portioned well enough to split. Great outdoor area and it looks as though there is a place fir someone to perform outside, however it was not the case when we visited there. Enjoy this great place

We stopped in here after looking at a wedding venue for daughter. The service was fast and friendly. My chicken sandwich was good. Not dry and It was seasoned well. Looks like they have a good selection of bears and ciders.

Do you like beer? If so, you are now wasting your time reading this. Get down to the Watering Hole and start your voyage. You will have your hands full making a selection while looking at literally a hundred plus choices. The food was solid as well. The building itself was done very well, and if you are a craftsman, you will enjoy some of the details found within the building. There is outdoor seating along a creek, which is super cool as well. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.

Just came to Murphys for the first time and stopped in the watering hole for a quick drink/snack before seeing a show down the road. First of all, I sat down at the bar and immediately spilled my wine which they were very gracious about and even poured me a new glass (to the blonde bartender, thank you and I love you). The beer selection is so impressive and the food is amazing and the prices are so reasonable! We had the crispy chicken sandwich and potato salad, I don’t know which one was better they were both so fire. We also saw other people get the pesto pasta and it looks so good and we want to come back for the short ribs. We can’t wait to come back to Murphys just to visit the watering hole again!!

Creative takes on standard fare and always absolutely delicious! If you’re a Brew aficionado, this is definitely a must try! Definitely my first choice for lunch or dinner when I’m in the area. For those with people friendly and socialized pets, The Watering Hole has an outdoor dining area that’s (leashed) pet friendly. Excellent food and amazing desserts. Kudos to the Chef and the friendly staff. Highly recommend and worth a drive for the big tree scenery.

First the good: Food is good and sitting outside near the creek on a summer day is relaxing.

Now the bad part: Chris (I believe is the owner) is rude and disrespectful towards customers. I’ve seen him trash talk customers as they walk away right in front of other customers!

This used to be our favorite place and have been there many times. Last night was the final straw. He was disrespectful to us and when we told him this used to be our favorite place, he told us too bad don’t come back! REALLY!! What business owner says that? I hate to see businesses fail but with an attitude like that he has no right running a customer facing business. It’s almost like he dislikes people and are an annoyance to him.

You get better attitude at McDonalds! At least they say thank you and please come again!

This guy could care less if you return. Why waste your money on them!

Everyone - go find a place that actually appreciates your business!
