This hotel was a perfect place for us!! We had been driving all day and wanted a clean, nice place. We walked in and fell in love with how well it has been kept and keeping the antique feeling but yet updated. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Lady at front desk was the sweetest and so friendly. We had already eaten so we didn’t eat but the dining looked so elegant. The bartender was very friendly and helpful. Thank you!! We will be back if we pass through town again.

Beautifully restored historic hotel. The staff is accommodating and very kind. Rooms are clean and the whole building is well maintained. The food is incredible! I highly recomend it, even just stopping for dinner; you won't regret it! location is close to many climbing and hiking areas with stunning views.

We stayed there on Christmas Eve on their 150th anniversary. Historic hotel well maintained. The food in the restaurant was pretty good too. Less than an hour from the Great Sand Dunes NP.

Stylish hotel in Del Norte. Front desk staff was great and welcoming. |Room was not ready when we arrived around 5... they were still cleaning a few rooms. And I know that this is a historic and classic hotel, but shower doors could be clean with a glass cleaner like sprayway glass, just a product that could be found at Walmart and could make a huge difference in the bathrooms, because doors were full of stains.

We went for dinner and it was just ok this time. We usually love all the food and tend to visit 2-3 times a year. Cocktail prices are up from our last visit, which is a bummer. We got the mussels, which i would say pass on. There is something off about the spices that do not do justice to the mussels. I've had Cajun seafood in New Orleans and it's not this. The crawfish tart is amazing. I could eat five. I had the flat iron steak and per usual, it was amazing. My wife had the Korean bbq quail, which also has something weird going on with the spices. It's just not working well for the quail. The table next to us took almost all of their quail to go. The chocolate cake for dessert was meh. Dry and underwhelming, I wouldn't order it again. We will wait for the next menu change before going back.
