Top O' the River is a well-known seafood restaurant. There was no wait, we were seated immediately. Service was quick and excellent with our server, Chevez. He brought the spicy pot o' greens, coleslaw, and cornbread without haste. All were flavorful and delicious. We ordered the Riverboat Special and two build your own Combo platters. The fried whole fish was seasoned and cooked perfectly. On the other hand, the fried fillets lacked the same seasoning and taste. It is worth a visit if you're in the area.

First time visiting and I was very impressed!! The Cole slaw, pickled onions, and corn bread were so good! I was also very impressed with the fish. What made the meal super amazing was our amazing server, Shelby! She was very kind and helpful!

Love this restaurant for down home cooking on seafood and side's. Very easy to get seated quickly and the staff are always been very friendly and helpful. The prices are about average for a quality meal. The quantity of food that's included on your table is always more than enough. Wait staff is always on their toes with excellent table service and hospitality with a genuine smile on their faces. The restroom is very clean and stocked and they have a huge parking lot to accommodate their customers. Highly recommend this restaurant for a quality meal with a friend/ family or a group of friends and family members.

On 9-29-24 I placed a call in order. I ordered 3 numbers 8 the build your own combo platter. I eat one piece bc I was hungry. I looked over the fact that it look like it’s been sitting out under a light or something. I get to the next piece of fish they all was bad. So she didn’t refund or re do my order. They will not get my business ever again!!!! I Do NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT . Thumbs down !!

My husband and I have been here many times and it never disappoints! Today, we were greeted by server McKenna who was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious as always! We enjoyed the Riverboat Special and a big pot o’ spicy greens! You can’t beat the value either. $17.95 for a 1/2 lb of catfish filets, fries and hush puppies! And it’s plenty to share between 2 people! We highly recommend this mountain top gem!

First time going and it's Mother's Day so it was very busy, however our wait time was only 36mins✊?. The restaurant is huge, so even tho it was crowed we were not packed.
Our waitress, Ms Lynn was super nice.
Okay....the food!!!!! We ordered appetizers ( onion rings and fried pickles) they were hot and delicious. They also gave us fried Mexican corn bread and coleslaw both was delicious ?. All this was before the food!!!! We ordered the seafood platter, it was humongous, fried catfish, 3 different kinds of shrimp, crabmeat, French fries and hush puppies......not kidding at ALLLLLLL! If you haven't been go.....

We were greeted by a friendly girl and seated as soon as we walked in. I'm not sure if our server, Colton , was just new at serving or if he doesn't like people. He never greeted us, just walked up to the table and said, "What do you want to drink?" He never said you're welcome or come back. The onion rings appetizer was $7.95 for 3 giant, raw, and greasy onion slices. The slaw and cornbread are good. The catfish was good but really greasy. The restroom has no paper towels, just the germ blower. Also, it's as cold as a well diggers rear end in the restaurant. Bring your winter coat!
