So on this day of 2-6-25 at approximately 3:30pm the bartender was very rude and refused to serve me. He said I was being belligerent. I walked and he asked how are you I said "Splendid" then he said you don't have to be rude, we're good on serving you. All because I said Splendid and tossed my jacket. The triple nickel is horrible, they are rude and it's not the first time... My wife and I were looking to play pool. Triple nickel didn't always have a pool table. They said rudely no does it look like we have one!!! They are unbelievably inconsiderate and rude...

If you're looking for affordable and a "divey"(this is not a bad term in my world) vibe, this is a great bar. Large bar to cozy up to with decent numbers of other tables and seats. Affordable and great place to throw a couple drinks back. Small open pool table is a plus as well.

The review below is BS. I was sitting at the bar when he came up. It was more like 30 seconds and there was a person right in front of him. He left immediately. The bartender was on point with his service. Was a great guy and a good experience.

This was my first time here. Easy to find, was able to find parking right away. Drinks are very reasonable and atmosphere friendly. Bathroom a little bit of a maze to find, but who doesnt love an adventure! Would definitely return.

This place is literally the best place to go in Colorado springs for food, drinks, and a wide variety of exciting entertainment. Plus they have a pool table, which I may have performed on 😎

I was just asked to leave because "I wasn't spending any money." When broached by the gentleman down stairs about paying a cover charge. I was told it was $10 but by friend was told it "a donation of $5 or $10".
I was personally invited by one of the performers to observe their set and was just patiently waiting. Due to the fact that I am paid to be at parties and to view performances, I did not want to be accused of working for free by sitting in on there performers so I mostly waited upstairs and outside.
I will not say that the fact my friend and I were the only people of color in the establishment, had anything to do with it. But considering neither him or I drink, and it was cold outside, I do not understand what the problem was. There was no entry fee at the front door.
The whole experience was awkward, unsettling and I would not recommend this place to my friends of color to perform. I am always one to give my flowers where they are due, but none are due here.

5/5 dive bar vibe. Fine dining? No. Extensive wine list? Not here. But also, why go to a dive bar for that stuff? It’s got regulars, cheap drinks, solid bartenders, and TVs to watch whatever is on.

Fritzys, down below, is the chillest vibe with the best energy. True culture exists here, which is rare.
