Awesome brewery with top notch service! My husband and I were scootering down the South Boulder Creek trail and saw a paper sign for the brewery. We zoomed on but later the weather turned so we thought we’d stop for a drink and hope the rain passed. We were so surprised when we came through the back door warehouse parking lots and up to the brewery. They did an excellent job of making a business park into a cool brewery. The bartenders (especially the dude in the hat) were so helpful and cool. I enjoyed the whole experience. For the brews, I’ve had Up Slope before but never the beers we had today. I mixed the 2 sours together after a tasting with the bartender but on their own, I would have gone with the mango. I also got my husband a jalapeño lager which was fantastic!! The interior is really great too, lots of wood and concrete. Just a fun atmosphere all around. I can’t wait to return!

Wanting to start to unwind from a day of traveling and hiking, Emily took us to Upslope Brewing for a beer before heading back to Sammy’s place. We walked in and were greeted by a friendly bartender and a really nice bar/drinking area. We grabbed drinks from the bar and took a seat by the windows that looked out into an outdoor drinking area.

At first, I didn’t see anything on the menu that really stuck out to me but then I saw my ol’ favorite hefeweizen. As we sat there, we saw all these dogs with their owners come and go. At one point, we sat and watched these three dogs in the outdoor drinking area because they are just so adorable. Also, this outdoor area has misting to help keep cool while drinking ice cold beer.

The hefeweizen was delicious without being too strong on banana, vanilla, or clove notes. Sometimes breweries will lean into those notes a bit too much and, for me, makes them a bit of a slower drinking beer. Not that that is bad, just a personal preference.

Anywho, we had our one beer and dipped out. While we were finishing off our glass, they were bringing food out. While I was in no way hungry, the food looked delicious and smelled amazing.

This was a nice little quick stop in what ended up being a 3 brewery tour in the span of a few hours.

From the moment I walked in, the vibe was welcoming with a lively, yet relaxed atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly, offering suggestions and sharing their knowledge about their diverse beer selections. It’s clear they are passionate about what they do, and it adds a personal touch to the experience.

I tried a flight of their beers, and each one was more impressive than the last. The Citra Pale Ale was a standout for me with its crisp and refreshing citrus notes—it’s perfect for any occasion. The Oatmeal Stout was rich and velvety, a great choice for anyone who enjoys a robust, full-bodied beer.

What really sets Upslope apart is their commitment to sustainability. They utilize can packaging which is better for the environment, and they actively participate in community and sustainability initiatives. It's great to see a business that not only produces excellent products but also takes responsibility for their environmental impact.

The food offerings, though modest, paired perfectly with their brews. Upslope emphasizes quality over quantity, and it's evident in every aspect of their establishment.

In conclusion, Upslope Brewing has mastered the craft of beer making and offers an experience that’s both enjoyable and unique. Whether you’re a local or just passing through Boulder, make sure to stop at Upslope for a pint (or two!). It’s an experience you won’t want to miss and one that you'll likely want to repeat!

We recently rented out the Flatiron Park party room for our destination wedding reception. MacKenna, their event coordinator, was so helpful with planning. Tennessee was our host/server for the evening, and he was absolutely WONDERFUL - attentive and so much fun. The staff all went above and beyond to make the day stress free and so very special. They had so many great drink options, and everyone was able to find something they liked. I would absolutely recommend working with Upslope for any event. The beer was good but this review is mainly for the Mighty Burger stand located inside the brewery. The guy that was running that place solo was so great and very friendly. We had the green chili fries and it was excellent. Perfectly crispy fries, loaded with meaty chili with a slight kick from the chili. Wish we had room to try the burgers because almost every table had them.

Up, up and away to Upslope! Had a great time here on the patio after mountain biking. Tried a few of there lighters beers such as the kolsch and lagers. There’s a nice little food joint off to the right side that allows for a few apps and hamburgers. Dogs can be on the patio but not inside. Overall the vibe was chill and everyone seemed easy going. The sun can be a bit intense if not inside or in the shade. Preferred to have a flight of beers for a sample of what was on tap. Highly recommended. Prost!

The beer is good. I go here all the time so you can trust me.

This place is good for a few reasons. One, they always keep a nice variety on tap so it always feels like you have options. On top of that, this brewery is smart enough to carry beers that are in season (Stout in the winter wheat beers in the summer, etc.). The other thing is that they tend to keep a food truck out front but they also serve food. That’s good.
