VIP Longe/Bar, has been around for over forty years, maybe even longer. I’ve been here a time or two. Came here once for a bachelor party, had way too much to drink, thank God I had someone to drive me home.
The bar is very clean and nice inside. They have darts, a ATM and a electronic jukebox.
Come say hi to the nice bartender Karen, she will give you something cold to drink.

Yk I went in because I felt the need to. But the people in there from the staff to the customers have to the kindest people you'll ever meet. They look out for you constantly and they dont judge what anyone is going through. I'll definitely be going again

Cool spot to chill, drink, and listen to music.

The bartenders and staff are really cool people and make the drinks on point! Excellent service overall!

Drink prices are pretty low! So you know what that means? More drinks for everyone! Great crowd and atmosphere to end your nights!

U gotta love things that don't change, and that's the vip, it feels like the forever late 70's bowling alley lounge, but nobody seems to appreciate it that way, the bathroom functioning and still sketch, so good, so perfect in its own groove they have curated

Good times. They now have AMI (no Touch Tunes). Its an old lady party early in the day, they're great though, their conversations are centered on weather, recent deaths, traffic, a bit of gossip etc. Feel like I'm at a family gathering, sitting with the aunt's (Sandy, Pam, Nancy), and my grandma (Jewell- that's her name, she's no gem). Anyway, gotta love the place, been here since high school, and the day bartender is great, once she gets to know you. Not sure anything eventful happens here, doubtful, as the VIP still flys under the radar. Check it out.

I have passed this bar a few times, and happy I went in last weekend. Great ambiance to meet friends or a casual date. Wonderful selection of drinks to wet your whistle, from beers to fancier mixed drinks. The food options were good. We nibbled on sweet potato fries, which were better here than they were at the steak house I happened to swing by earlier that day. There are so many great spots in Bakersfield , but this is one many could classify as their go to spot.
