Stopped by to find some local(ish) brews in Del Norte & the owner was helpful/knowledgeable. They had a great selection of beers & wine, which was perfect since I wanted to try one that I hadn't heard of before. Picked up the Dry Dock Apricot blonde which was really refreshing. Wish I'd had more room to pick up some seasonal beers, like the pumpkin patch ale.

I’m so sad because I’m leaving this cute little town before I even had the chance to get to know very many of the locals. I will say Carol, one of the employees that works here a lot of the time is now my buddy and it’s super nice to see her and talk to her when I visit this store. All of the employees are nothing but amazing and helpful. They have a very eclectic selection of wine and beer for the smaller space that they occupy. Definitely a go to liquor store if you’re staying in the valley or Rio Grande area. Hours are also awesome. Pretty sure they stay open later than any store in the area. Honestly, I don’t care because I’d rather come here than anywhere else. You guys are awesome! ❤️

Was passing through from out of town and had a terrible interaction with the staff. Regardless of your thoughts or beliefs on the global pandemic or on masks the state of CO requires them. Also wearing a mask could potentially protect other people. It’s a simple thing to do to show kindness to others. The employees at this store refuse to wear them. While shopping in the store, I overheard the clerk making fun of a customer who had asked her to wear a mask earlier. I also asked the clerk to wear a mask and she laughed as well. I work at a hospital and my wife has asthma. We would be very disappointed to catch covid from a store clerk on our backcountry CO wilderness socially distanced socially isolated trip. We dropped a note by the CO department of health’s office, but other than that I would recommend avoiding this store not just because of the public health concerns, but also because this place doesn’t deserve your business. I would highly recommend the other liquor store in town or if you are just passing through like us, Monte Vista or South Fork probably have cleaner establishments.

Great selection, was very impressed. Very friendly, observing social distancing, helpful, prices were reasonable! We are in town rving, we stock up here for the road. Now closed, damn the bad luck!

An amazing place to stop and select something special, whether that's a good beer to go with pizza or a special-occasion wine. I highly recommend it, especially when you get the benefit of the owner's wisdom and expertise!
