Three words to describe this hotel: Noisy, Broken, Expensive.

The details: if you enjoy hearing *every single noise* from your neighbors (above, below and to your sides), including: bathroom sounds, showers running, sinks running, people coughing, people talking, televisions, microwaves beeping, foot steps, and so on, then this is your place. It's so unbelievably noisy - the walls and ceilings are literally paper thin.

If you also enjoy a non-functional pool and hot tub area, broken ice machines, and out of service dryers, this place is for you. It would appear the ice machines have been broken for several months - there's a review from 3 months earlier that shows the broken ice machine... what's up with not fixing anything at this place?

And, Gallup, I'm sorry but you charge entirely too much for hotels that are far below mediocre. $175 for a stay here is RIDICULOUS. Had I paid $70-$80, it would've still been a very crappy stay. But at $175, it's borderline criminal. What the heck is up with hotel prices in Gallup?! Especially this flea bag place?

Finally, I woke-up with itchy, little red bumps all over my torso. I'm not sure what caused that, but I guess I received a parting gift from this hotel. (The beds are also nothing great, but that's another story)

If you can at all avoid staying in Gallup, do it. If you must stay in Gallup, stay elsewhere. This place is absolutely terrible, aside from the staff, who were friendly. As evidence of how not-great Gallup is, there are safety placards all over the place advising you to be "alert and vigilant" at all times, don't "display cash" and to avoid going anywhere alone. Great place. Definitely worthy of NYC hotel prices.

Nice location with easy access to the Interstate. Surprisingly quiet and nestled into an area with several other hotels.||Room was spacious and quiet as well as clean. Check in was slow, not sure if the computer was acting up or what but it took sometime to get checked in.||Breakfast was ok, nothing special and nothing terrible. We would stay here again if we are back in the area.

The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is right of interstate with gas and food in interconnected parking lots. The service is amazing, and having seen the way Devin helps guests and answered my questions I can say she is top notch at customer service. Breakfast was good, and right up until closing, the food was stocked.

A well deserved respite from a long drive. GREAT property just outside of the busier downtown Gallup. I was trying to make it to ABQ but glad I did not. I have never been to Gallup and hecka-loved it! The Holiday Inn property DAR EXCEEDED my expectations. Clean, comfy, well appointed, comfy bed & pillows, free breakfast, quiet location yet close to town in one direction and the casino in the opposite direction. Great Value.
