Had a good time for the majority of the night. A few friends joined me from out of town. We played pool, darts and had a few drinks. The first female bartender earlier in the evening was great. The male bartender who closed was also attentive and very professional. At closing, a patron said some pretty blatantly racist remarks. I wasn't sure I heard him correctly so I asked him to repeat it. He did and confirmed that I did indeed hear what I did, which was totally ignorant and terrible for this man to say. The bartender got upset with me for bringing it up instead of ignoring his comment. He politely said bye to the patron and then made it a point to come and lecture me on my bringing up the racist remark, insinuating that I was somehow the problem... I disengaged from him and said I didn't want to be a problem and promptly left the establishment. I find it very disappointing that the bartender made it a point to disapprove of my questioning the patrons racist remark but didn't have a word to say to the patron who made the remark. I won't be back, which is very disappointing because beside the last few minutes of my time there, I had a great experience.

I got to have my first real drinking experience here last night! My boyfriend has been coming here for a while with his co-workers from Discount tire across the street, so I didn’t have to worry about it being a brand new place. The bar is huge with a range of seating options, has a great number of pool tables and other games as well! Lots of T.V’s so it’s impossible to miss the game and super friendly staff. The atmosphere was extremely welcoming and I didn’t feel out of place at all. It wasn’t super loud (although maybe we were 😅) I didn’t feel like I had to yell to be heard at any point, and the live music is great!

Extremely awesome experience right there on a Wednesday night for karaoke. It was kind of dead at 8:30 but when 9:00 rolled around there was a bunch of people and they were ready to sing. I got the Long Island and this was one of the best tasting Long island's I have had in a long time!!!

Bartender reeked of liquor and was absolutely drunk during the Bills Broncos game this morning. He then went and screamed at an older black gentleman who had brought in his own coffee. "Is there a sign that says you can bring in outside food or drink? Then get that the hell out of here". The guy left. The bartender then told the rest of us "sorry about that but that guy never buys anything or leaves a tip". After reading these reviews I am sure there will be a response of "hey the bartender thought he had a better relationship with the customer". Did I mention this was a black elderly man? Go ahead and spin away.

Don't come here if you don't like dives. This place is the only real dive in boulder, the pub on pearl is too full of college kids and dickheads to count. But outback has a ton of fun potential and great crowds of people if you can look past it's gruff edges
