Venue was offering early entry to the first 50 people to buy food or drink. Showed up an hour and a half early to guarantee a good spot. After looking at my ID for less than a minute they decided it was fake and I wouldn’t be let in. I had to step aside and offer multiple times to call the Boulder non emergency police to validate my ID and only then were they willing to actually spend time to verify my enhanced driver’s license was actually real. As a former bartender I completely understand they were just doing their jobs but they need to invest in an ID scanner or black light or something so they don’t just have to rely on their judgment because it’s obviously not the most reliable. They did buy me a drink when I finally got in which was greatly appreciated but at that point there were no seats and limited food left and my anxiety was so bad the rest of the night I ended up getting sick and having to leave my favorite artist’s concert early. Pretty much ruined my night. Highly recommended if you have an out of state ID that you bring another form of ID or have the non emergency police number on hand so they take you seriously.

Very unprofessional bouncers. My girlfriend was told her ID was fake, though it is real. She just moved from Washington state… First off I would recommend not going to this bar but if you need to due to an event, I recommend if you have an out of state ID that you bring another form of identification and/or have the non-emergency line handy in case they threaten you with having a fake ID.

Make sure you have multiple forms of ID with you because the bouncers don’t know how to identify a valid enhanced driver’s license. Or have the non emergency police number on hand so they take you seriously. Straight up bozos. Ruined the night.

Hard to describe how bad the restaurant and bar is connected to the Boulder theatre. I would say if you haven’t been to the circus in a while then this clown show is a must see! Staff letting food sit out and get cold for 30 mins, bartenders not knowing ICE goes in a drink(yes seriously). Just total mayhem. Not even that busy. Yikes!

Great place to get food and drinks while waiting for your show. They were serving McDermitt Tacos when we were there and they were really good! The green salsa is the best! The cocktails were good too. I only wish they had staffed better because as it got close to showtime there was one woman doing so much running in our section that you could barely cash out. Would not prevent me from going there again though!

Stopped in "for just a minute" while doing the CU Stampede
Understand it wasn't "the thing to do" but your drinks were better than Avanti (next door)
Just wanted to thank you for letting us crash the set up before the Stampede
